  • Strength in "PSI"
    • (pounds per square inch is the compressive strength of hardened concrete)
  • Slump in "Inches"
    • (stiffness, workability, and consistency of fresh concrete - avg 3-4")
  • Admixtures if required

Typical Residential Concrete Strength Specifications:

  • Foundation Footing (2500 psi or 3000 psi) with air entrainment
  • Foundation Wall (2500 psi, 3000 psi or 3500 psi) with air entrainment
  • Interior Slabs on Grade (3000 psi or 3500 psi) non air entrainment
  • Exterior Slabs on Grade (3500 psi or 4000 psi) with air entrainment
